Manchester City have reportedly launched a €95m bid for Napoli Centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, City boss Pep Guardiola wants Koulibaly in his squad next season.
The potential signings of James Rodriguez and Hirving Lozano may force the Serie A side to sell a key player this summer, and City are keen to take advantage.
The English giants defended the Premier League last term but have lost captain Vincent Kompany, who was recently appointed the new Coach of Anderlecht.
The Senegalese still has four years left on his contract and Napoli have refused to sell to the likes of Juventus, Manchester United and Real Madrid so far.
