Social media influencer, Tunde Ednut, has come under attack on social media for mocking Innoson vehicles.
Tunde condemned the local brand on Tuesday shortly after the winner of the 2019 ‘Pepper Dem’ edition of the reality TV show, Big Brother Naija, Mercy Eke, was presented an Innoson SUV worth N25 million for her victory.
Tunde said in Pidgin English on Instagram:
“Bbn don go buy nepa motor for our lambo. dis one na made in 51 iweka road onitcha.”
Nigerians on Twitter have begun attacking the social media influencer, saying his comment was irresponsible.
What Tunde Ednut said about the Innoson SUV is surprisingly how a lot of Yoruba's view Igbos.
If its fake then its Aba Made.
Permit me to say this.

Tunde Ednut is wrong for doing this. Insulting Nigeria's only car maker, Innoson is highly disappointing and unfortunate.
We complain about our economy not being big enough and imports. How can we grow if we are not in control of what we buy and consume? pic.twitter.com/miyqdtcN6H

Until Innoson is included in the presidential convoy they'll remain inferior to Nigerians.
Tunde ednut is mocking innoson while we scream buy Nigeria to grow niara.
If innoson had done giveaway for tunde ednut he wouldn’t post that gibberish on his page. pic.twitter.com/iTa6sPw2bU

While some are joining Tunde Ednut to shame a #MadeInNigeria product, Rwanda just produced Africa's first smartphone.
Unwavering progressive vision, on the part of the gov.t, is a catalyst to rapid economic transformation.
